Description

1952. A student slips The Stranger by Albert Camus into her schoolbag and walks lightly up Boulevard Saint-Michel, towards the Sorbonne, the oldest university in France where the youth of her time gathers: a generation that wants to forget the war. At 29 du Boul'Mich, the student stops in front of a new shoe store. The window sparkles with joy and bright colors! The “C” in Carel, the name of its founders Georges and Rosa, stamps the collection.

2022. In homage to this story that has been written for 70 years, Carel imagines the Sorbonne. This adorable bag plays on the codes of the old-fashioned satchel, with its thin, adjustable shoulder strap, its organic linen lining and its vintage “C” logo.

For a chic and relaxed look, eternally Parisian!
