THE CAREL BABIES WITH A SUBTLE VINTAGE STYLE

The particularity of the Kina, beyond its finesse, elegance and comfort, is that it is “semi-dressed”.

It is this versatility that has made it successful and which appeals so much to women all over the world, whether they are wearing jeans, pants, mini skirts or dresses.

She was seen at the feet of Alexa Chung, Emily Ratajkowski, and singers Angèle and Clara Luciani.

Our production, 100% European, is designed in Paris and carried out responsibly to limit overproduction and optimize our resources. We favor road transport to our warehouse in Paris to reduce our carbon footprint.

THE STORY OF AN ICONIC BABIES

Emilie Carel, in charge of the creation studio, decides to use an old iconic Carel model, the “Madelon”.

She works with our Italian workshops to modernize the shape and improve the vintage model. It was in September 2013 that the Kina model finally saw the light of day.

In its early days, it was marketed in classic and pastel colors.

For 5 seasons now, it has been available in crazier colors & materials and POP: the brand's DNA.

And of course, always handmade in our Milan workshop in responsible and fair quantities.

THE STORY OF AN ICONIC ANKLE BOOTS

L'Estime appeared in 2011 in the Carel collections. It is the first creation of the new styling team which took over the reins of the collections in 2010.

Its small heel and square toe with a 60s vibe make it stand out and adored.

This boots has been seen on the feet of Alexa Chung, Louise Follain, and the singer Christine and the Queens.

Estime has given rise to several collaborations with creators like J-Crew and Etienne Deroeux.

INCOMPARABLE STYLE

The new design team wanted to design an ankle boot with 1960s inspiration. An ankle boot with fine lines that could be worn with jeans or bare legs with a skirt.

An ankle boot that fits women “on the move”. This is done with Esteem, which was launched in September 2011. It quickly became a must-have in Carel collections.
